Community Guidelines

Our community:

Healthy and Free is a thriving community of healthy Americans. People join our community to connect with others, share information, find solutions, and take positive action. We know that people will not always agree, but we expect everyone in our community to treat one another with dignity and respect. We have put together these guidelines below to help set the tone for discourse and keep our community respectful, lawful, and peaceful.

      • If you need to talk with someone during our meeting, walk far away so your voices can’t be heard and won’t disrupt our meeting, finish your conversation, then rejoin us.

Our picnic meeting format:

  • Presentation time is for listening only.
  • Q&A time is for questions only.
  • Socializing times are for everything else.
  • To ask a question during Q&A, stand in the Q&A microphone line.
    • When it’s your turn:
      • Walk up close to the microphone and angle it to your mouth.
        • Your mouth should be no farther than one inch from it.
      • Speak loud and clear into the microphone.
      • Ask your question upfront!
        • You have 30 seconds to make your question known.
    • If your question is not known within 30 seconds:
      • The “What is your question?” sign will be held up.
      • You will have a final 30 seconds to ask your question.
        • If you don’t, we will move on to the next person.
    • One question per turn in line.
      • After your question is asked, walk away from the microphone.
      • There is no limit to how many times you can stand in the Q&A to ask more questions.

No discrimination, hatred, or violence:

We do not support behavior that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or whose primary purpose is inciting hatred based on these core characteristics. This can be a delicate balancing act, but if the primary goal is to attack a protected group physically, the behavior or content crosses the line. Any offending individual will be removed from our community, and any offending content will be removed from our platforms.

Policy enforcement:

Healthy and Free takes violations of our policies seriously and will respond appropriately. We reserve the right to remove any individual or business from our community that violates our policies.
